Crescent Bakery Surgery

Crescent Bakery Surgery covers the central Cheltenham area and those surrounding areas up to a radius of 5 miles from the centre of town. We currently have an open list and are taking on new patients.

Although there are no car parking facilities at Crescent Bakery there are car parks within easy walking distance of the Practice and there are regular bus services (see map here).

The Primary Health Care Team at Crescent Bakery Surgery aims to provide you with a comprehensive, friendly and efficient health care service. However, we are aware that, from time to time, there may be aspects of our service that you feel could be improved. We would welcome any comments from our patients in this respect.


Extended Hours

We offer extra appointments on Wednesday evenings. Contraceptive, asthma and some GP appointments are available from 18:30-19:30.

New GP

From mid May we will be welcoming our new salaried GP, Dr Lucy Baker. Dr Baker will be working with us on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays

Training Afternoons/Bank Holidays

The surgery will be closed from 1pm-5pm for staff training on the following afternoons

We will also be closed on the following Bank Holiday dates

Monday 1st May - May Day Bank Holiday

Monday 29th May - Spring Bank Holiday

We are now using SystmOnline. This allows you to view your regstration (address, allergies etc) and interact with our practice using the internet at your convenience to order repeat medication and to book or cancel appointments even when we are closed.

In order to register for the new service you will have to come in to the practice bringing photo ID (driving licence, passport or national ID card). This is in order to guarantee the privacy of the system. You will be given a user name and password.
